Side Branch Occlusion system
Side Branch Occlusion system
A system designed for minimally invasive treatment of peripheral vascular disease (PVD), which requires a small incision at the groin and below the knee for accessing the saphenous vein. The SBO™ system includes an introducer catheter, a coil delivery catheter and a Fogarty valvulotome, which access side branches and valves from within the saphenous vein, allowing placement of stainless steel coils at the side branch sites in order to redirect blood flow through the saphenous vein.
