Vibration Hammer
Vibration Hammer
an impact-vibration machine used for sinking (driving) into the ground—as well as extracting from it—reinforced-concrete, wooden, and metal piles, sheet piles, pipes, and other elements.
As distinct from a vibration driver, the vibration exciter of a vibration hammer is connected with the head of the sinking component by a spring suspension and, in addition to the vibration action on the element being sunk, transmits periodic impact impulses to it, thus intensifying the process of sinking. These impacts are made by the head of the vibration exciter on the anvil of the cap of the element being sunk. Vibration hammers are made with one or two electric motors (the latter are the most widespread).
