A term of art referring to a smoking-related condition in which there is clinical evidence of interstitial lung disease associated with histologic changes of respiratory bronchiolitis—bronchiolocentric alveolar accumulation of pigmented macrophages, normal lung parenchyma and minimal small airway disease.
Clinical findings
Dyspnoea, hypoxaemia, and mild restrictive lung disease.
