Soviet-Cameroon Agreements
Soviet-Cameroon Agreements
Diplomatic relations were established between the USSR and Cameroon on Feb. 20, 1964. Agreements were concluded on trade (Sept. 24,1962), cultural cooperation (Mar. 22, 1963), and economic and technical cooperation (Apr. 12, 1963). The two countries also concluded an agreement on cooperation in building and equipping an agricultural school in Tchanga and a forestry engineering school in Mbalmayo (Apr. 15, 1966); the agreement also provided for the extending of credit to Cameroon.
