Sovetskaia Potrebitelskaia Kooperatsiia

(Soviet Consumers’ Cooperative), a monthly journal of the Central Council of Consumers’ Cooperatives of the USSR. Published in Moscow since 1957, the journal is intended for the various workers of Soviet consumers’ cooperatives and deals with the work of the cooperatives.

Sovetskaia potrebitel’skaia kooperatsiia publishes articles on the history and theory of cooperatives and the ideological struggle in the international cooperative movement. It acquaints its readers with the cooperatives’ advanced experience and problems in economics, organizational work among the masses, foreign and domestic trade, the food-service industry, the production and procurement of consumer goods, construction and personnel training.
