Sovetskaia Khakasiia

(Soviet Khakassia), a Russian-language oblast newspaper of the Khakass Autonomous Oblast of the RSFSR. Founded in 1930, the newspaper is published in Abakan six times a week. Circulation, 35,700 (1975). Sovetskaia Khakasiia was awarded the Certificate of Merit of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR in 1967.
