Sovetskaia Iustitsiia

(Soviet Justice), an organ of the Ministry of Justice of the RSFSR and the Supreme Court of the RSFSR. Sovetskaia iustitsiia began publication in Moscow in 1922, with the active participation of D. I. Kurskii and under the title Ezhenedel’nik sovetskoi iustitsii (Weekly of Soviet Justice). It now comes out twice a month. Sovetskaia iustitsiia elucidates the work of court bodies and the various organs of justice, arbitration, the bar, and the notariat. It devotes great attention to legal propaganda and the legal education of citizens and carries commentaries on existing legislation. It publishes materials on the organs of justice in foreign socialist and bourgeois states. Circulation, more than 110,000 (1978).
