In the Mac, the icon of a TrueType file looks like a document, dog-eared on the upper left, with three A's on it. TTF files are stored in the \\WINDOWS\\SYSTEM or \\WINDOWS\\FONTS folders. TTLL5 A gene on chromosome 14q24.3 that encodes a polyglutamylase which preferentially modifies alpha-tubulin. TTLL5 is involved in the side-chain initiation step of polyglutamylation, rather than in the elongation step. It enhances NCOA2’s glucocorticoid receptor-mediated repression and induction and its androgen receptor-mediated induction.
