Southeast Drift Current

[sau̇′thēst ′drift ′kə·rənt] (oceanography) A North Atlantic Ocean current flowing southeastward and southward from a point west of the Bay of Biscay toward southwestern Europe and the Canary Islands, where it continues as the Canary Current.
