Udyl’

 

a lake in Khabarovsk Krai, RSFSR. Lake Udyl’ is situated on the left bank of the lower Amur River, with which it is linked by an arm of the Ukhta. It has an area of 330 sq km. Stretching from southwest to northwest, the lake is about 50 km long, about 9 km wide, and up to 5 m deep. The northern shore is elevated and rocky in places, and the southern shore is low and marshy. The Bichi River is the lake’s largest tributary.
