Location:In Allegan County, west of Highway 196 via Exit to 64th Street, then west on 138th Avenue to park.
Facilities:Picnic area and shelter, trails (13 miles).
Activities:Hiking, cross-country skiing, wildlife observation.
Special Features:Saugatuck Dunes is a day use park along a secluded strip of LakeMichigan shoreline. The park's major attractions are the long sandybeaches and the 300-acre natural area, which contains a coastal dunesystem as well as three endangered plant species. Some of thedunes are more than 200 feet tall.
