Akhsu

a city (until 1967, a settlement); center of Akhsu Raion, Azerbaijan SSR. Located on the Agsu River, 35 km northeast of the Kiurdamir railroad station, on the Evlakh-Baku highway. Population, 10,200 (1968). Industry includes a dairy plant and an asphalt plant.
