Sarymoin

a closed salt lake in the Kazakh SSR; located in the central part of the Turgai Gates. The area of Lake Sarymoin is conventionally accepted to be 126 sq km; however, its actual area and depth vary greatly. The lake is fed by snow. Its northern and western shores are irregular.
