American Jobs Creation Act American Jobs Creation ActUnited States legislation, passed in 2004, that repealed a subsidy for American exporters and extended tax relief to them (and others) in order to compensate them. It cut taxes for farmers and manufacturers and increased penalties for tax shelters. Proponents argued it would provide an incentive to create American jobs, while opponents contended it only made the tax code more complex. |
