Tselinograd Kazakhsel’mash Agricultural Machinery Plant
(full name, 50th Anniversary of the USSR Tselinograd Kazakhsel’mash Agricultural Machinery Plant), a large tractor and agricultural machine-building enterprise, part of a production association for antierosion technology. Located in Tselinograd in the Kazakh SSR, the plant specializes in producing agricultural machinery for areas affected by wind erosion. The first unit was put into operation in 1969. The plant manufactures SZS-2.1 planters, KPE-3.8 cultivators, hitches for planters, and spare parts. It exports agricultural machinery to Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, and other countries.
