Tsagveri

an urban-type settlement in Borzhomi Raion, Georgian SSR. Railroad station on the Borzhomi-Bakuriani branch line. Tsagveri is situated on the northern slope of the Trialetskii Mountains, at an elevation of 1,020–1,130 m, on the Borzhomi-Akhalkalaki highway, 14 km southeast of Borzhomi. It is a climatic and balneological resort. Therapeutic agents include carbonic acid, chalybeate, and calcium-sodium-bicarbonate mineral springs. The resort also offers climatotherapy. Nontuberculous respiratory diseases and certain other diseases are treated. There is a general therapy sanatorium for children and a house of rest.
