Pskent

a city (until 1966 a settlement) and administrative center of Pskent Raion, Tashkent Oblast, Uzbek SSR. Located 14 km south of the Toitepa railroad station and 60 km from Tashkent. Population, 20,000 (1974). Pskent has a cotton-ginning plant, a brickyard, and a factory for the production of concrete.
