Remote Access Services Remote Access Services (communications)(RAS) A service provided by Windows NTwhich allows most of the services which would be available ona network to be accessed over a modem link. The serviceincludes support for dialup and logon, and then presentsthe same network interface as the normal network drivers(albeit slightly slower!). It is not necessary to run WindowsNT on the client - there are client versions for otherWindows operating systems.
