Susuman

a city and administrative center of Susuman Raion, Magadan Oblast, RSFSR. Susuman is situated on the Kolyma Highway, on the Berelekh River (Kolyma River basin). It has a gold ore concentration combine, a mechanical-repair plant, motor-vehicle transportation enterprises, a building-materials plant, a meat and dairy combine, and a vegetable and dairy sovkhoz. A mining technicum is located in Susuman.
