Sandomierz Lowland
Sandomierz Lowland
(also Kotlina Sandomierska), a lowland in southeastern Poland, in the interfluve of the Vistula and San rivers, occupying part of the mountain trough north of the Carpathian Mountains. The lowland is composed primarily of alluvial deposits. It has elevations of 150–250 m. There are rye and potato fields and pastures in the lowland.
