Special Features:Elegant home of British loyalist Frederick Philipse III. After the start of the American Revolution, Philipse and his family fled to England, and the home was confiscated by the state and sold at auction. One of New York’s finest examples of Georgian-style architecture, the house now serves as a museum of history, art, and architecture.
