Phenamine

(also amphetamine, or benzedrine), a medicinal preparation in the category of nervous stimulants. It should only be taken under medical prescription. Phenamine—in tablet form—is used in the treatment of certain pathological conditions that are accompanied by drowsiness, apathy, or asthenia. Continued use may have a cumulative and addictive effect, and overdosage may cause neuropsychic disorders.
