Urus-Khan

Date of birth unknown; died second half of the 1370’s. Khan of the White Horde.

Urus-Khan sought to unite the Golden Horde under his authority (seeWHITE HORDE). In the mid-1370’s he captured Adzhitarkhan (now Astrakhan), the city of Sarai-Berke, and Bulgaria on the Volga.
