Tatsinskii

an urban-type settlement and administrative center of Tatsinskii Raion, Rostov Oblast, RSFSR. Railroad station on the Likhaia-Volgograd line, 230 km northeast of Rostov-on-Don, with which it is linked by road. Population, 10,800 (1974). Tatsinskii has a butter factory and a brickyard. The settlement has a museum of the glory of battle and labor, which is a branch of the Rostov-on-Don Museum of Local Lore.
