Solnechnodolsk

an urban-type settlement in Izobil’nyi Raion, Stavropol’ Krai, RSFSR. Located 16 km from the Peredovaia railroad station on the Kavkazskaia-Elista line. The Stavropol’ State Regional Electric Power Plant, which has a capacity of 3,600 megawatts, is under construction in Solnechnodol’sk. The first unit was put into operation in 1975.
