Special Features:After winter and spring rains, this high-desert reserve is transformedinto fields of golden poppies and other wildflowers. The wildflowerseason generally lasts from mid-March through mid-May, but the park isopen year-round from sunrise to sunset. Visitors should beprepared for very high winds and should be aware of the high numbers of Mojave Greenrattlesnakes in this area.
