释义 | Trade Union Reform and Employment Rights Act 1993Trade Union Reform and Employment Rights Act 1993a UK statute that continued the trend of earlier legislation by restricting TRADE UNION activities. Pre-strike ballots (see TRADE UNION ACT 1984) are required to be postal ballots and the employer must be given a week's notice of the start of STRIKE action. Employees are given the right to join any trade union. The Act also extended some employees‘rights, partly to incorporate recent European judgements and legislation (see SOCIAL CHAPTER). |
