Taseeva

 

a river in Krasnoiarsk Krai, RSFSR, a left tributary of the Angara (the Enisei River basin). The Taseeva is 116 km long and drains an area of 128,000 sq km. It forms at the confluence of the Biriusa and Chuna rivers. The river is fed primarily by rain and snow. High water occurs from May through September; the maximum is always in May. The mean flow rate is 740 cu m per sec. The river freezes in October or early November and opens up in late April or early May. Its main tributary is the Usolka River, on the left. The river is used for floating timber. The Taseeva is navigable.
