Tasbuget

an urban-type settlement and administrative center of Syr Darya Raion, Kzyl-Orda Oblast, Kazakh SSR, under the jurisdiction of the Kzyl-Orda Oblast soviet. Situated on the right bank of the Syr Darya, 10 km from the city of Kzyl-Orda. Population, 10,700 (1975). Tasbuget has land-reclamation and water-use management enterprises.
