Location:In Emmet County, 1.5 miles north of Petoskey off US 31 on the north end of Little Traverse Bay.
Facilities:168 modern campsites (é), mini-cabins (é), organization campground,picnic area with a 1-mile beach, playground, beach house, hikingtrails, paved bicycle path nearby (é).
Activities:Camping, swimming, hiking, cross-country skiing.
Special Features:Park is located on Little Traverse Bay and features a beautiful sandy beach.Old Baldy Trail, one of two trails that run through the park, includesa stairway that leads up a stable dune (Old Baldy), which is one of thepark's attractions. The view of the bay from the top of this dune isspectacular. Park is also a great spot to hunt for Petoskey stones.
