Location:Off Babcock Street (County Road 507) just north of theC-54 Canal (north entrance/visitor center); or off Fellsmere Road(County Road 512) 1.8 miles east of I-95 (south entrance).
Facilities:5 primitive tent campsites for group camping, 6 hike-inprimitive tent campsites, 3 primitive campsites for horse camping, 2picnic pavilions, 1 remote picnic area, multi-use trails (60 miles), aPort-o-Let toilet facility (é), small unmanned visitor center (é).
Activities:Camping, horseback riding, hiking, bicycling, fishing,canoeing/kayaking (no launch facilities in park), wildlife viewing,birding, guided tours (seasonal).
Special Features:Park preserves open grassy forests of longleaf pine andother biological communities, including cypress domes, scrubbyflatwoods, sandhills, and a strand swamp. These habitats are home tomany native plants and animals, including more than 50 protectedspecies. Several cultural, historical, and archeological resources alsoare found at the park.
