 [tin-zap´ah-rin] a low-molecular-weight heparin obtained by depolymerization of heparin from porcine intestinal mucosa using a bacterial enzyme; it acts as an anticoagulant and antithrombotic and is used as an adjunct to warfarin in the treatment of thrombosis" >deep venous thrombosis with or without pulmonary embolism, administered subcutaneously.
