Bezier

Bezier

(graphics)(After Frenchman Pierre B?zier from Regie Renault)A collection of formulae for describing curved lines (Bezier curve) and surfaces (Bezier surface), first used in 1972 tomodel automobile surfaces.

Curves and surfaces are defined by a set of "control points"which can be moved interactively making Bezier curves andsurfaces convenient for interactive graphic design.

Bezier

In computer graphics, a curve that is generated using a mathematical formula that assures continuity with other Bezier curves. It is mathematically simpler, but more difficult to blend than a b-spline curve. Within CAD and drawing programs, Bezier curves are typically reshaped by moving the handles that appear off of the curve.
