Taromskoe

an urban-type settlement in Dnepropetrovsk Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. Under the jurisdiction of the soviet of the Lenin District of the city of Dnepropetrovsk. Situated on the right bank of the Dnieper River. Sukhachevka Railroad Station, on the Dnepropetrovsk-Piatikhatki line. Population, 18,000 (1975). Taromskoe has granite quarries and a state livestock-breeding experiment station. The Dekorativnye Kul’tury Sovkhoz is located in the settlement.
