Supreme Control Chamber

 

in Poland since 1957, the highest controlling organ subordinate to the Sejm. The Supreme Control Chamber exercises control over the economy, finance, and organizational administrative activity of the highest and local organs of the state and the organizations subordinate to them. It introduces annual resolutions into the Sejm on implementation of the state budget and the national economic plan, as well as motions approving government actions. The Supreme Control Chamber has delegates in the województwa (provinces).
