Shaksha

an urban-type settlement in Ufa Raion, Bashkir ASSR. Shaksha is situated on the Ufa River, a right tributary of the Belaia River, 10 km east of Ufa. It has a railroad station on the Ufa-Cheliabinsk line. Industry is represented by a brickyard and a shop of the Bashkir Ceramic Plant; building materials are also produced in the settlement.
