Vilenkin, Vitaliiiakovlevich

 

Born Dec. 27, 1910, (Jan. 9, 1911), in Moscow. Soviet theatrical scholar. Doctor of the Arts (1967).

Based on his studies of the work of the Moscow Art Theater, Vilenkin wrote several major works on the art of its leading figures. He was one of the organizers of the V. I. Nemirovich-Danchenko Studio School. He has been a professor since 1967.
