Lived in the first half of the 13th century. Ruler of Khodzhent.
During the invasion of Mongol troops into Middle Asia, Timur Melik was forced to abandon Khodzhent. He seized and fortified an island on the Syr Darya River in April 1220 and waged a battle against the Mongols. Using boats, his detachments carried out a campaign against the Mongols and helped defend the city of Urgench. After defeating Jochi’s detachments, Timur Melik joined Jalal al-Din Mangubirti, and together they organized a resistance to the Mongols in Khorasan and Afghanistan. Timur Melik was killed by the Mongols.
