Timerevo Kurgans

an ancient Russian burial ground dating from the late ninth to early 11th centuries, located near the village of Bol’shoe Timerevo, 7 km southwest of Yaroslavl. The site consists of more than 400 kurgans containing cremations and some inhumations. Objects found in the kurgans are similar to those of the Mikhailovskoe kurgans.
