S0002200 (sä-vā′drə lä′mäs, sä′ä-vĕ′drä), Carlos 1878-1959. Argentine diplomat and educator. He won the 1936 Nobel Peace Prize for his part in negotiating an end to the Chaco War (1932-1935) between Bolivia and Paraguay.
