State Administrator

The regulator charged with governing securities at the state level. That is, the state administrator is the unit of a state government that ensures security issues under that state's jurisdiction comply with the law. It also investigates potential wrong-doing and takes administrative action against persons and companies that violate rules and regulations. The name of state administrator comes from a provision in the Uniform Securities Act.
