Vevis

a city (since 1950) in Trakai Raion, Lithuanian SSR, with a railroad station on the Vilnius-Kaunas line. Population, 3,000 (1969). Vevis has a reinforced-concrete structural components plant, a poultry factory, a creamery, and a flour-milling combine.
