Location:On the Red River in the city of East Grand Forks, 1 mile south of Highway 2.
Facilities:72 drive-in campsites (48 with full hookups), flush toilets (é),picnic area, picnic shelter (é), boat launch, paved multi-use trails,wheelchair accessible trail (2 miles), historic site, nature store, dining andshopping nearby.
Activities:Camping, river fishing, boating, birding, hiking, bicycling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling.
Special Features:Creation of this recreation area resulted from the 1997 flood thatdevastated the communities of East Grand Forks, MN and Grand Forks, ND.The land is now a 1,200-acre greenway set in an urban area.
