S1PR1 S1PR1 A gene on chromosome 1p21 that encodes an EDG (endothelial differentiation, G protein-coupled) family receptor, which is highly expressed in endothelial cells. It binds the sphingosine-1-phosphate with high affinity and high specificity, and may be involved in regulating endothelial cell differentiation. Receptor activation induces cell–cell adhesion. |
