Toyama Shigeki

 

Born 1914 in Tokyo. Japanese historian.

Toyama, who graduated from the University of Tokyo in 1938, is a professor at Yokohama Municipal University. In his works, which deal with recent Japanese history, Toyama concentrates on revealing the extent to which ideology has influenced political and economic developments in Japan.
