Tanama

a river in Krasnoiarsk Krai, RSFSR, and along the krai’s border with Tiumen’ Oblast. The Tanama River is 521 km long and drains an area of 23,100 sq km. It flows through a boggy lowland and branches out near the mouth, emptying into the left channel of the Enisei River, the Deriabinskii Enisei. The river is fed by rain and snow. Highwater is in June and July; during the winter the water level is extremely low.
