Staraia Toropa

an urban-type settlement in Zapadnaia Dvina Raion, Kalinin Oblast, RSFSR. Staraia Toropa has a railroad station on the Moscow-Riga line. A center for lumbering, it has a branch of the Toropets Furniture Combine and a cheese plant.
