Uzerlik-Tepe

 

(also Uzerliktepe) a middle Bronze Age (first half of the second millennium B.C.) settlement on the eastern outskirts of the city of Agdam, Azerbaijan SSR. The site was investigated from 1954 to 1956 by K. Kh. Kushnareva. The remains of a wall with counterforts made of large mud bricks were found, as well as hearths and refuse pits. Other discoveries included ornamented pottery, farming and weaving implements, objects made of bone, small bronze objects, grains of wheat and barley, grape seeds, and the bones of domestic animals.
