(Super Active Matrix OLED) An AMOLED technology that integrates the touchscreen sensors into the display, thus eliminating an additional layer. Phones and tablets can be made thinner when using a Super AMOLED display. A major proponent of Super AMOLED, Samsung has named various versions as Super AMOLED Plus and HD Super AMOLED Plus.
