The entire route is located within the boundaries of Talladega National Forest and Cheaha State Park is located at the top of Cheaha Mountain near the midway point.
Legth: 26 miles. Start/Endpoint: Byway runs in a northeast/southwest direction from nearthe intersection of I-20 and Highway 281 to Turnipseed Hunt Camp near thesouthern end of Cheaha State Park. Time to Allow: 1 hour. Designation/Year: National Scenic Byway (1998).
